What the Owner says:

After we moved from the U.S. in 2008, it took us over a year to find this ideal home for our family. It needed to be spacious enough to accommodate all our large American-sized furniture, but, more importantly we wanted to be within an easy 10 minute walk of the High Street, station and school.

We love the year-round brightness of the house, as the kitchen, lounge and conservatory all open onto the large, south-facing patio and garden, making it an ideal location for entertaining, especially in the summer.

The garden gets sun for most of the day and is perfect for the children: big enough for them to kick a ball around in or jump on the trampoline but small enough so that you can see what they’re up to without having to leave the kitchen. The garden also has direct access through its own gate into the Norsey Woods Local Nature Reserve and it’s many trails.

We enjoy the friendliness of our immediate neighbourhood which interacts socially through such activities as coffee mornings and a book club. We also love that Billericay High Street still retains a great diversity of shops and restaurants so you don’t have to go further afield unless you want to.

We have loved living here and are only leaving because my husband’s job has been relocated to the US.
