Property description

There isn't much that this house doesn't offer! In a fantastic location with a large, sunny garden this could be the one for you and your family! There is even a large cellar which runs under the whole house, perfect for storage or you could seek planning consent and look into developing it.

With a working fireplace in the front room and a lovely log burning stove in the dining room, you can imagine getting everyone together for family occasions and cosying up whilst dinners cooking. The larger than average, sunny garden is great for any green fingered buyer or families with children.

A new loft room creates the perfect sanctuary for teenagers needing their own space. With two double bedrooms and a modern, spacious shower room its a great hideaway. With a matching, modern bathroom on the first floor and an additional toilet under the stairs, you need not ever queue for the loo again!

Hollingdean is a quiet, residential location and you are in the catchment for great schooling for all ages. Hertford, Varndean and Dorothy Stringer schools are all within walking distance. 'The Dip' is just at the end of the road for your daily items and the Fiveways shops, cafe's and deli's are also only a five minute walk away as well as Lewes Road being nearby. Parking on the road is free and those commuting by car can be up onto the Ditchling Road then onto the A27 & A23 in moments. There is also a nearby bus route making town an easy destination!

What the Owner says:

This has been an amazing family home for the best part of 10 years now. My daughter wants to 'fly the nest' and it will be just me rattling around in this huge family house when she moves out!

I moved from the Fiveways area and Hollingdean Terrace has such a great family and community buzz to it. My children still have the same friendship group from when they were at school and college locally, which I think has been important for them.
Some houses on this side of the road have sought planning approval to dig out the basement and use it as an additional living area. Having such a sunny, large garden is like gold-dust in Brighton, we get such an array of birds and wildlife which I will truly miss!
