Having previously lived in Banstead and Cheam, followed by 8 years in Somerset, our wish list for a new house, on our return to Surrey was headed by the need for a substantial detached house with good spacing between properties in a well landscaped road of mature trees and shrubs - somewhere we wouldn't feel hemmed in by long straight roads of identical houses.
We were absolutely delighted when we eventually found this house which was built in a small and exclusive development of traditionally constructed homes in what used to be a woodland copse. We found it to be a wonderful family home and haven't since missed Somerset at all!
