Rookham Hill lies just north of wells on the south facing foothills of the Mendips and is an entirely unspoilt beautiful countryside with small fields and woodland. There is easy access to the countryside with many footpaths and bridleways.The lane which runs from Wells up Rookham Hill was at one time the road to Bristol but has been bypassed for many years and is now little used.
