The Properties

The main house and detached cottage are historically thought to have been three properties, and are superbly orientated to enjoy the spectacular landscape. This property is completely individual and offers a great deal of charm and character with potential for enhancement.

A country-style fitted kitchen/breakfast room with its central island and Aga is a cosy room; perfect for family and informal entertaining.

5 Bedrooms in this spacious house (2749 sq ft) afford comfortable family living with a guest wing also suitable for older children.

A formal dining room with antique oak-panelling leads through to a snug, and also to the elegant sitting room with its open fireplace and large bay window with seat, overlooking the Wye valley.

The Detached, 2 bedroom cottage (743 sq ft) has income potential for rental or as a holiday let, also ideal for extended family/granny annexe.

Outside

Extensive gardens lie to the north of the property, with lawned areas surrounded and interspersed with mature shrubs, trees, rose bushes and an abundance of spring flowers.

An attractive paved seating area to the front aspect provides fabulous easterly views and a place to enjoy the surroundings, perfect for al fresco dining.

A little-used vegetable patch with raised beds would benefit from some enthusiasm, but could easily be returned to productive use.

The cottage is situated at the entrance to the main house, which provides privacy for both properties - the property is approached via a private driveway where there is a garage and parking for several vehicles.

There are terraced gardens and extensive grounds to this property but please note that much of the ground is quite steep, if you have any concern as to the nature of this ground then please do speak to the agents before viewing.
