We enjoy the local restaurants and there is an outlet centre at Chatham Dockside which has shops, restaurants and a cinema. Historic Rochester is just up the road, it has lovely restaurants and pubs as well as historic marvels such as the castle and cathedral. There are also often street festivals such as the Sweeps Festival and lovely markets at Christmas.
