Property description
Welcome to Brighton's premier division – Clifton Hill conservation area, highly sought after by commuters to London and locals alike.
In the heart of the city and only a short walk from Brighton's bustling activity and sea front, this area also boasts its share of tranquil green spaces in contrast.
The community in general has a good old fashioned feel to it. There are two local pubs and a park directly behind featuring regular fetes where neighbours come together to raise money for good causes.
The house itself is simply fabulous! Four floors of spacious accommodation, allowing plenty of privacy for the whole family and visiting guests. There is a large double aspect reception room for entertaining, and a bright, double-glazed, conservatory for dining or to relax in.
There is a small front garden, a sunny, elevated rear terrace for alfresco dining, and a small side return offering sufficient space for bicycle storage.
Off street parking is also an option with the potential for a driveway to the front of the property. This would be subject to the necessary planning consents.
Overall this is the perfect home, a clever blend of modern features and period charm, bang on trend for modern living. A must to see!
What the Owner says:
We have loved living in our home for the last eight years. Our children have grown and flown, so it is now simply too big for us. The split of bedrooms, top and bottom of the house allowed a nice separation, and proved perfect for noisy teenagers and for guests alike (this was formerly a self-contained flat and can easily be converted back). The study in the loft was initially a Playstation den for small children, and later an ideal home office/revision space tucked away from distractions. The elevated rear terrace, which backs onto a beautiful little park, proved a surprisingly tranquil suntrap and we often enjoyed long Sunday lunches up there. We will stay in the area as we have all enjoyed it so much, with easy walking access to the City centre, Laines, train station and beach.
