Property description
This exceptional house dates back to the Victorian era and over the years has been extended, improved and modernised. Over the last couple of years this home has been refurbished to a very high standard to include an excellent kitchen/dining area, however the main feature of this property is the spacious loft conversion constructed in 2013 comprising a double bedroom, shower room and study area.
Immediately as you walk through the front door of this lovely home you will notice the tasteful decoration plus many fine features including a wood-burner within the lounge, making it a very cosy place for those winter evenings. There are four good size bedrooms making this property ideal for a family to spread out into. There is further scope for more rooms by converting the large basement into an additional reception room ( subject to consents)
Outside there is a private, enclosed rear garden as well as a driveway to the front providing parking for one car and associated parking on the road.
The location is great as it is a short walk away from 'Lesbourne village' with an excellent mix of facilities for day-to-day needs. It is also close to Priory School and Reigate Parish Primary School and only a short walk away from Reigate town centre with a superb mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, High Street shops, major employers and a mainline train station to London. Redhill train station provides easy links to London (Victoria/London Bridge approximately 28 minutes)
What the Owner says:
We have loved living in this house and are leaving with heavy hearts.
The location is fantastic, with a butcher, baker, wine shop and hairdressers all within a hundred metres and a newsagent opposite. We love the sense of community and after moving from London to Reigate knowing very few people we have made lots of friends in the area. Being in the catchment area for two outstanding rated schools has taken that possible stress away and our children are very happy in the Parish school.
This has been a perfect home for our young family and we will be sad to move on.
