When we saw this house it had everything we wanted and more. Plenty of space, two minutes from Hove station, close to the sea and the town centres of both Brighton and Hove, a good size garden, ample parking and even a garage! After our daughter was born we decided 3 years ago to re-design the ground floor entirely. The modern kitchen-dining room is our life centre, and because it is south facing, the space is warmed up quickly by the slightest ray of sunshine. In the summer we live with the tri-fold door open nearly all day due to the garden being such a sun trap. We will be very sad to leave this house, but have decided that although there are numerous outstanding schools in the area, we would like our daughter to grow up in a more rural setting.
