Property description

This is a beautiful older property dating back to the 1920’s, with an abundance of natural character. Sitting in a highly desirable location just a stone’s throw from Horsham town centre, minutes from the train station and within a few minutes walk of Millais & Forest Boys secondary schools.

A large bay fronted window allows plenty of natural light into the lounge area which centres around the original, stunning feature fireplace, perfect for those who appreciate the charm of the era.

The appeal extends through the dining area to the kitchen where at the heart of the room sits the original brick chimney breast, now sitting above a large Rangemaster cooker, added when the kitchen was refurbished around 5 years ago.

Originally built as a 3 bedroom semi-detached home, the current owners created an impressive loft conversion in 2005, which adds a large 4th double bedroom with oak flooring, as well as an upstairs bathroom, making this a perfect family home.

Outside is an impressive rear garden, it seems very private as its not overlooked to the side or rear. It's ideal for children to run around or kick a ball in, while a hard standing area previously used for parking, has been laid by decking. The garden has a light and power supply and is a great area for entertaining outside in the Spring/Summer months.

What the Owner says:

When we moved we were looking for an older style 3 bedroom property with lots of original features and a nice size garden. The convenience of the location appealed as well and we’ve since learned that the road is very quiet with very little traffic, and safe with excellent neighbours.

We decided to grow the house by extending into the loft space as the needs of our family changed by adding a further bedroom with a bathroom. We have also replaced the kitchen and downstairs shower room which has plumbing for a washing machine, added substantial improvements to the roof, replaced the front door and completely re-landscaped the rear garden.
