Property description

Introducing this property…!!!

From the outside you'd be forgiven for believing this to be an average size property however, once you step inside you're in for a surprise. This superb converted chapel has much history, charm and character as well as an awful lot of accommodation and would certainly provide a luxurious and spacious lifestyle for any who choose to live in it.

The popular rural location is itself quite unique, providing space and freedom for the occupants, but still within short walking distance of the village of Horam with its shops and post office, and with a local pub barely 150 yards from the house what more could you ask for?!

From its original use, (we believe dating back to around 1911,) this this property was converted around 1975, and still many of the neighbours will fondly remember attending Sunday school here. Now that the property is a large family home with many rooms, it's easy to overlook the internal space but the versatility will suit most families and the setting is a real delight, and with a good size rear garden, ample parking and good size garage/workshop and two sheds, all the practical boxes can be ticked too. This remarkable property is one not to be missed!

What the Owner says:

We've loved living here and were initially drawn to the location for its rural nature, but without feeling isolated and it really does provide the very best of both worlds in that respect. Furthermore, the fact its only a short walk into the village of Horam is a real bonus and as a result, we take a walk at the weekend for the newspaper. Finally, the close proximity to the local pub completes the list of boxes ticked!

The house itself has a great plot with plenty of space directly around it, and this only serves to add to the feeling of freedom, and that air of exclusivity which only comes from living in such a unique and peaceful spot. We will be sad to leave.
