The Property
Woodbury is accessed via a gated entrance to short driveways leading to a large parking area. The property is situated within a plot of gently sloping gardens with perennial borders, a wildlife pond and coppice woodland with side access along a private road. Three large garages and secure stores beneath both properties provide plenty of storage and workspace with the potential to extend into these areas.
The porch is a later 1950s addition to the property and sympathetically designed in a loggia style with side widows and lead glazing. The interior of the property with original oak staircase and trim, and leaded metal-framed windows throughout retain its period features.
The property is light and airy with a large drawing room with new EcoStove woodburner (2011) and views from multiple aspects with window seat. Double glazed doors lead out onto a wisteria-covered dining and lounge area with views over the woodland to Herefordshire and beyond. The dining room is accessed from the hallway or through the internal glazed door from the drawing room providing the perfect entertaining space. The kitchen is fitted with farmhouse-style units and has two pantry cupboards, a separate utility room and 4 oven AGA with hotplate.
The reception hall leads via a beautiful solid oak staircase up to a landing with picture window to the views and 3 bedrooms and family bathroom. The master bedroom provides plenty of storage by way of fitted wardrobes and has a beautiful, newly refurbished en-suite bathroom.
The views from the master bedroom to the north and west from two large glazed and leaded corner windows are exceptional and the perfect position to watch the seasons change.
Two further double bedrooms, one with fitted wardrobes and the other with a balcony provide excellent space for a family.
The separate detached Clock House provides accommodation and storage on three levels with an open-plan kitchen, dining and sitting area and balcony with views to the West, a double bedroom and bathroom and games room or workshop underneath the main living space.
The Clock House is serviced by a private gas supply and has the potential to extend the living space into the storage areas, subject to planning.
