What the Owner says:

The first thing impression we had of this property was that it was so quiet. It still is, both day and night. We invested a lot in improving the home, upgrading the kitchen, including a range cooker, bathroom, downstairs toilet and utility room. We also extended the drive and block paved, installed new double glazing, roof and cavity wall insulation and an 8kW wood burner in the lounge. We have loved living in this beautiful village and never tire of it’s film set looks and the view over the lower Weald is wonderful. Above the village there are fields and woods, lots of footpaths for walkers and dog owners, available allotments and a community orchard, which we helped plant. We are allowed to keep chickens on our allotment in addition to growing fruit and vegetables.
