Property description
Pretty, with kerb appeal this home has many surprises under its belt.
Gardeners will love spending time outside tending to the plants or listening to the sound of the water trickle in the two ponds. Go through the flagstones to the end of the garden and you’ll notice a summerhouse, perfect for taking a moment to relax and read a book, or paint that watercolour you’ve always wanted to do. But wait. What’s that? Tucked at the back is a marvellous space perfect for a home office or gym; with double glazing and power, it would make a wonderful studio or annex ( subject to any necessary consents being obtainable).
With many additions it’s hard to think what hasn’t been improved in this house whether it’s the double height extension, roof, electrics, new windows, driveway or oak beams you’ll love every aspect of this luxurious home. There’s a country feel about this property and yet modern, beautiful wooden shutters and stripped original 1930’s doors. This is a very family orientated house but with a touch of luxury as well- even surround sound speakers which can played via the entertainment system.
With a large and flexible amount of accommodation whatever the size of family. There’s a space for you. Warning- there may be fights to ‘own' the old brick garage to use as a home office or chill out space. Most of the time will be spent in the fantastic open plan living area with its amazing kitchen looking out beyond to the garden.
What the Owner says:
We’ve made this home our dream home and created it around our kids. We love the open plan layout that we’ve created from the old house that was here before and added some nice touches to get that luxurious feel. Sometimes there might only be the three of us but other times there can be six or seven of us at weekends. We needed a home which could cater for that.
We really hope the new owners will love it here too, whether it’s the solid oak flooring, kitchen or the private summer house which our daughters have loved. I personally like that you can sunbathe in the lounge just by opening up the bi-fold doors to the garden, letting in all the greenery and fresh air, you get the sun and it feels really private.
