For us, living here has been absolutely perfect. We are set within a pleasant private close with only five homes, providing an exclusive atmosphere; we also benefit from being close to Epping Forestland.

It was this fabulous location that made us realize we had found what we had been searching for. We are tucked away from it all with some great walks on our doorstep, yet we are only 0.5 miles from the bustling High Road of Loughton.

Our favourite space within the home is the kitchen/breakfast/family space, which we created by combining two rooms into one. It’s certainly the heart and hub of the home – it’s an area where family and friends can come together for cooking, eating and relaxation and we tend to spend most of our time in this space.

Over the years, it’s been a great home for entertaining, whether it be inside or the outside where we installed a pool. We have held many a pool party, barbecuing with friends and family or simply relaxing with a glass of wine or a cold beer on the patio following a busy working day.

Another feature of our home is the frontage; it allows excellent parking facilities, which is great when we have visitors. Plus, we have the double garage for our own cars if we choose to put them under cover.

We shall miss everything that attracted us to this property in the first instance – we are only looking to move as the home is too big for us now.
