Property description

This really is a desired close within one of the most popular areas of Ashford. All of the houses are detached and the close is spaced out avoiding that feeling of being hemmed in. This large, 4 bedroom family home is positioned near the end of the small close and with no other house directly in front of it, has a great position.

A driveway leads down to a double garage and if it's raining you can step out the car, through a door and into the hallway without getting wet.

Once inside you'll find plenty of room. The kitchen has enough room for a dining table and with NEFF appliances your friends are bound to be a little envious as they watch you prepare your signature dish! For more formal dining and special occasions you may wish to entertain in the dining room and during the summer months this room opens out to the rear garden.

There's also a conservatory off the lounge so can enjoy the garden all year round and with open views over surrounding fields it is a wonderful feature of this home. On a good day you can easily see across to the village of Wye and the Downs beyond!

The views from upstairs are even better and lots of big, wide windows keep the first floor bright and airy and the rooms are well proportioned for a family with the master bedroom having its own en-suite shower room and plenty of cupboard space.

What the Owner says:

I came to Ashford in 2006. I didn't know the area terribly well but have a sister who lives in Sandyhurst Lane and this house was quite close and the area had a good reputation. I looked at others nearby but this felt light and welcoming which was very important. I still wanted it to feel like a family home, even though I was here by myself and my family often visit so I still needed the space.

I've done a lot of the work in the garden which I've really enjoyed and being so close to the countryside is wonderful. I'm now looking to move nearer to my children but will genuinely miss this house.
