Property description
Set near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac this house is only about 15 years old. Unlike some modern builds this house has a fantastic amount of space. The house is well presented and has a welcoming and homely feel. The rooms are versatile as you could use the lounge/family area as it is now or you could easily have your table and chairs within the extension where you can look out the patio doors to the garden. This would then give you the option of using the separate dining room as a study, playroom, snug or even a 5th bedroom.
The ground floor cloakroom means that you won't have to go upstairs to use the family bathroom, great when spending time out in the garden playing with the kids or entertaining at the BBQ.
Having off road parking side by side means that you won't have to be switching cars around to get in and out of the drive.
With great countryside walks on your door step you can look forward to enjoying the outdoors. Eythorne has good access to the A2 and A256 and from the nearby village of Shepherdswell there is a main line train station. The village has its own convenience store, post office, garage, primary school and local pub - ideal for a swift drink on your return home from a good walk through the fields.
What the Owner says:
When we were looking to buy we wanted a bigger home as our family was rapidly growing. This house was perfect as it had a great amount of space, particularly with the extension on the lounge. Having the extra room was good for us as we were keen to have a separate dining room so we could enjoy family meals together away from the TV. With 4 bedrooms upstairs it meant that we could utilise one room as a study.
The sunny aspect garden was important to us as we do tend to eat outside a lot in the summer. The patio is a real sun trap and the garden is nice and safe for the children.
