Property description
The convenience of Southbourne can not be under estimated and yet it has a relaxed and laid back feel to it.
Wonderful coastal and countryside walks spread out towards the Southdowns and the coast and superb schooling is provided for all age groups within the village. As your children grow older the independence that the main line train station provided will negate the need to be a Mum or Dad taxi. Chichester with its walled shopping and festival theatre lies in one direction and Portsmouth with Gunwharf for eating and shopping in the other.
Offering 4 good size bedrooms with the master bedroom having en-suite and a large living room plus a separate dining room there is plenty of space for the growing family to spread out. The drive allows several cars to be parked with ease for when they have grown that little bit more. If you wish to entertain then the private rear garden is large enough for a garden party and has the advantage of the adjacent lounge accessed by French doors. Double glazed and centrally heated with a new boiler 3 years ago it is a warm and cozy home to return to for many years, and yet due to its location there will he no need, to move if you need to give up the car.
The 700 bus service gives access to Brighton to Portsmouth and every town inbetween. We would strongly recommend an early appointment.
What the Owner says:
We moved here from a small village as we wanted to find a similar quiet location but one that had everything we needed within a short walk. It has been a great home over the last 18 years and everything we need is so convenient including the adjacent train station that we have used to get to London Gatwick, Chichester and Portsmouth. There is a choice of local shops library, greengrocers, post office, farm shop, chemist, doctors, dentist, church and leisure centres as well as three superb schools. The neighbours are great and I will really miss them when I move. I will really miss Southbourne but I need to be nearer to my family and have found the perfect place for me. I hope that my house becomes a home for the next family and love it as much I have.
