Property description

A rare individual property in a semi-rural location with an unconventional layout, the property can be adapted to suit individual tastes. The village of Chelwood Gate is close to Ashdown Forest with its Heath and woodland for plenty of country walks. Hayward’s Heath town centre with fast trains to London and plenty of shops, restaurants, and bars is accessible via the A272 and has easy access to the A23 to Gatwick.

This property has an unusual layout which can be re-arranged with plenty of rooms ready for someone to work their magic and create the home they want .

At present the ground floor has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom and a separate shower room also the utility room could be adapted to be the main kitchen on this floor. There is access from the utility room to the car port, so no getting wet when it rains, straight indoors once out of the car!

Up the spiral staircase to the first floor which has a lovely spacious feel and is light and airy. The first floor is currently the living area with a bedroom, lounge and separate dining room and the main kitchen. The dining room has access to the balcony which is over the car port, so you can sit outside and relax having breakfast on a sunny morning.

This is such a unique property it needs to be viewed to really see the delights within!

What the Owner says:

I have lived here for over 30 years. I love living in Chelwood Gate it’s such a nice village to live in. It’s got such a good community and I have lovely neighbours. The house is a bit unusual to others, but that’s why I have enjoyed living here for so long. In the summer months I enjoy sitting on the balcony reading a book and catching up with friends.

I’m still looking to stay in the village but I’ve now decided that I’ve come to that stage in life where I’m looking for something a bit smaller.
