Property description

This could be your ultimate forever home! Set within a quiet residential road within Challock, this pristine house has an ideal layout for most modern day families.

With a large kitchen/diner, you can enjoy having those daily meals with the family and on those special occasions, you can look forward to entertaining in the more formal dining room.

For anyone that works from home, you can have your own study or you could utilise the room as the owner does now as a music room or even a playroom.

In recent times, the owners have updated the cloakroom, en-suite and family bathroom and they really are stunning, reminiscent of something from a luxurious hotel. The walls have natural Travertine tiles and with rainfall showers and high quality fittings, you may never want to get out of the bath or shower!

With a pitched roof double garage, you’ll have plenty of space to house the car and still have lots of storage or a place for those messy hobbies. The garden provides a lovely private space to sit out in and with a secret garden to the side, you can shelter from the elements under the pergola and enjoy a glass of wine whilst taking in the peace and quiet.

Challock is a well regarded village with a number of local amenities to include its own primary school, post office, pub and village hall.

What the Owner says:

We decided to buy this house because it was in a great location within Challock. We had previously lived in the village and knew it to be a lovely community where the villagers are welcoming of newcomers. With our children being at school age, it was important to live somewhere where there was an outstanding local school and also bus services to the grammar and secondary schools. We loved the house as not only did it give both our children a good size bedroom, but the living space is such a good size which means that we’ve had versatility over how we’ve used the rooms over the years.
There are plenty of good countryside walks nearby. The 5 stile walk takes you into the Eastwell Manor grounds and it really is idyllic countryside.
