I have lived here for 18 years and it has been a wonderful family home. The front of the house can park multiple cars easily, which has been very handy once the children were all able to drive. When they were younger the front of the home was an ideal area to set up skateboard ramps and let the children play.

Sheep and cows are generally in the field at the top of the garden giving it the illusion of an extension of our already large garden, giving that country feel. My children have spent most of their childhood enjoying the outside space.

As we are sociable people, an important thing for us was that our home could lend itself to entertaining. The garden is large enough for a marquee or two and the family area opens up onto the patio creating a large entertaining area.

The bedrooms are all good sizes and can also fit spare air beds in when the situation has arisen. The music area has been a fabulous space as the family have grown up. Now it tends to be used as a dance area when we have parties.

The park is only a short walk up the road and we are in easy walking/cycling distance to the school. I have lived in Bembridge for 32 years and one thing I have found is that Bembridge is a very friendly and welcoming village. It is not too hard to indoctrinate yourself into the community should you be that way inclined.
