Property description

As soon as you step inside this family home you will realise that you really are in for a treat! The hallway, warm and welcoming, is a light and bright space that is helped by the natural light which reflects off the solid oak flooring leading you through to the living areas. The light and airy feel is also helped by the open plan design making it the ideal space for parties when entertaining friends and family. The lounge has plenty of room for the comfiest of settees as well as an intriguing design of cupboard and shelving which will help keep all the bric-a-brac out of sight.

The kitchen, which is individually designed and hand-built, has top quality appliances and a central island, complete with a granite work surface, and will be the perfect place to catch up over a cup of coffee. The quality of finish is evident throughout this house and, none more so than in the family bathroom which has a bath tub, a separate shower, marble tiled walls and a porcelain floor, complete with under floor heating for a real splash of luxury.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite, whilst downstairs there is a further bedroom making this an ideal house if you have children of different ages. The sitting room/bedrooom 4 could be used as an extra living space where you can chill out alone and get stuck into a good book or watch your favourite television programmes or even as a guest bedroom when visitors come calling.

What the Owner says:

It was the location that first attracted us to this house as we wanted to stay in the village which is such a wonderful place to live. You are close to everything that you need, such as the local shops, for a pint of milk or the Sunday newspaper, the local pub for a quiet pint and the primary school which is within easy reach for the children. Just down the road is the railway station making this an ideal location if you commute to central London.
Even though we are in the heart of the village, it is still nice and quiet here and when you sit in the garden on a summer's day all you can hear are the birds signing in unison.
Since moving in we have renovated to a very high standard and completely landscaped the rear garden.
