Property description
This lovely home will definitely appeal to a range of buyers from first and second timers to investors and downsizers alike. You could not ask for a better location as it is nestled within a very quiet cul-de-sac off Cedar Drive and is a short walk from the village centre.
As you approach the property you will notice a parking space right outside the front door so there will be no problem taking the weekly shop inside. There is also another allocated parking space just around the corner which is a nice surprise. The front door opens into an entrance porch where you can remove coats and shoes before stepping through to a spacious lounge area. This spacious room can accommodate a large suite and will be perfect for nights in with a film and a glass of wine. When you have friends and family round for dinner you will find the separate dining area a real godsend and being adjacent to the kitchen area you can chat to your guests whilst you prepare a banquet. The wall between the kitchen area and dining area could be removed for an open plan experience. There is also a light and airy lean to conservatory where you can relax and read a book. On the first floor there are three bedrooms which are serviced by a stylish modern bathroom where you will look forward to relaxing soaks.
The rear garden is a sun trap and is very well stocked with plants and shrubs making it a nice place to sit outside and catch some rays in the summer months.
What the Owner says:
I was originally living in Ashtead and at the time I was working in Dorking and wanted to move closer to work. One of my colleagues lived in Southwater and told me to take a look at the village so I did. I bought a lovely one bedroom house in The Oaks and did fall in love with Southwater so when I was looking to upgrade I did not want to move out of the village. I started looking for a three bedroom home and when I saw this one I could not believe my luck as it was exactly what I wanted. Once I viewed it I knew it was the home for me and wasted no time in securing it.
I have been extremely happy here for the last 25 years. I will miss my neighbours and friends but I am moving back to my family home in Ashtead.
