As first time buyers we wanted a location that gave us the best of both worlds. For commuting it's great to keep the travel time as short as possible; the City is less than 20 minutes on the tube. Having grown up in the local area, I knew this was a safe and friendly neighbourhood. South Woodford has great bars, restaurants and shops with a Waitrose, M & S and Sainsburys all within five minutes walk. We were also very much attracted by the fact that Epping Forest is on our doorstep with its beautiful trails for running and walking. The house is cosy in the winter and in the warmer months we enjoy BBQ's in the garden with friends and family. We particularly love our loft-style lounge, it's such a relaxing space to enjoy a glass of wine.
