CHERITON FITZPAINE is a parish and substantial village approximately one and a half miles north-east of the Crediton/Tiverton A3072 road. It is a typical Mid Devon village with traditional white cottages and thatched roofs. There is a pub, a post office/store and a doctors surgery. A multi million pound primary school opened in October 2010 for 125 local children. The city of Exeter is about 9 miles away and the town of Crediton 5 miles with its shopping centre and schooling facilities.
DIRECTIONS If approaching Poughill from East Village, the cottage will be found on the right hand side, the 2nd property upon entering the village. If approaching from Cheriton Fitzpaine (coming up the hill) passing the school and church on the right, come up and around the corner and the cottage is on the left.
