We have owned our house for 17 years and when we bought it, it looked nothing like it does today. We have invested a lot of money into our home and the work started in 1998 when we had the roof replaced. We then re-fitted the kitchen and had a new damp course fitted in the front and the back of our home. Two years ago we replaced the boiler and had solar panels fitted, which we own and cost us £7200. We also had the house re-wired, re-fitted the bathroom and had a new gas fire fitted.
We have been very happy here and our neighbours are fantastic, but it is now time for us to downsize and move closer to family.
