Property description
Those of you that appreciate the features of a property of this age will be very impressed with the well maintained frontage and the mosaic entrance porch, together with the period style front door.
As you step inside you will immediately notice the high ceilings and other fine features such as the ornate cornice, picture rails, high skirting boards and solid internal doors and you will find, when wondering around, that these features are very much a pattern throughout the house.
The lounge will offer a calming and peaceful environment for you to retreat to at the end of a busy day, perhaps with a glass of wine, a good book or your favourite television programmes. The dining room is ideal for you when you have visitors and want to entertain and, if it does begin to get a bit "stuffy", then just throw open the French doors to let in a cool summer breeze.
The kitchen is also of a good size and will allow you to chat with loved ones as you prepare the evening meal and, with the right advice, could be knocked into the utility room which will create an even larger kitchen space that would be the envy of your friends and family.
Upstairs the bedrooms are all doubles so that none of the family will be disappointed with their rooms and bedroom one is very much a "master" with plenty of space for a King size bed and lots of furniture.
What the Owner says:
As soon as I walked into this house it felt peaceful and happy. Over the years I brought the property back to life by painstakingly restoring the original features and, in recent years, have had the outside painted to help to keep its kerb appeal. It's a big house with a good size garden, is very quiet, and is the perfect place to relax on a sunny summer's afternoon.
The location is also a real bonus. There are parking permits available at a nominal cost, but you do not really need a car as there is a park just along the road. The local primary school and the girls grammar school all within walking distance as is the town. Commuters can also walk to Gravesend railway station to catch the fast service to London in just under twenty minutes
