We originally bought the house 14 years ago as an investment. It needed full refurbishment, we felt it offered lots of potential and were up for the challenge.
Over the years we have done so much including re-fitting the kitchen and bathroom, re-wiring, double glazing, central heating, re-plastering, re-decorating, replacing flooring and converting the cellar into a bedroom. We have put a great deal of time, effort and money into the house, but have been delighted with the results.
We did let it out originally but my son has been living there in recent years and has been keeping it in its refurbished condition. It is now time for him to move on and for us to sell.
