What the Owner says:
30 years ago we were living in a council house in London and were priced out of the local market, so we ventured down to Gillingham and couldn't believe the value for money. The location was great, as I worked on the underground in London, so I was able to jump on a train after a short walk and be there within 40-45 minutes. We knew that this was the right house for us as soon as we saw it. It just felt right, it was so warm and inviting. Over the years we have made numerous improvements including installing double glazing, a new boiler, re-fitting the kitchen and bathroom, re-wiring, -re-plumbing and decorating. It was certainly a good move for us but we are now looking to move down to Devon, closer to family.
