Once you open the front door and enter the sitting room, you are struck by the wealth of period features including its original, open Victorian fireplace. This house has quality everywhere you look. Then, on to the dining room, which is the heart of the house. You will really enjoy entertaining family and friends whether it be Sunday with your favourite roast dinner or a cosy dinner party going late into the evening. The ground floor has a good sized family bathroom.
The property has a stunning cottage garden with well stocked borders with many varieties of plants and flowers. It will be a real pleasure to sit outside in the summer months enjoying the fresh air with a fine coffee or maybe your favourite beverage. At the end of the garden is the icing on the cake, discreetly tucked away is a fantastic summer house.
The village of East Peckham, with its close community feel and local shops and services, caters for everyday needs. There is countryside all around with its many walks and country pubs to be enjoyed from your doorstep.
What the Owner says:
This has been our first house together and we have absolutely loved living here. We now have our own little family so it’s time to move to our long term family home. We love our garden and from spring the garden comes to life. It is a real country cottage garden. All our friends love coming round to our parties and barbecues. In the winter months we love nothing more than snuggling round the open fire.
The locality has worked really well, I work in Tunbridge Wells and the fact that you can drive and park at Paddock Wood mainline station is a big plus as well. Since we have started a family, the fact that we can walk to the doctors, school and village store has been a major advantage.
