This was my family home from 1979 when my parents moved here from nearby Westbury Road. This house was bigger and in a better area and, as a family of 5, we really needed the space. Living here was perfect for my parents for getting to work and it also meant that we could walk to school from here.
We used to spend our weekends at the nearby recreation ground playing with friends as well as blackberry picking in the surrounding hills.
