Property description

If you are looking for a home not needing any work, then stop and come and take a look! This property is in fantastic condition and there is a good, quality feel to the work that has been done, with amazing attention to detail.

From the road, you wouldn't imagine just how much space is on offer: the bedrooms are of good size and the large gardens are a great place for the children to run free when their friends visit.

The kitchen is trendy and contemporary, with space for a table making it the heart of the home for any family. With the addition of a useful, spacious larder, the cooks among us will have plenty of room for cooking equipment and ingredients. And, with the lounge and kitchen both being double-aspect, the house is very light and bright.

Hollingdean is incredibly popular with families and professionals. The schooling is excellent for all ages, and Hertford has received 'outstanding' in recent OFSTED reports. The buzzing Fiveways shops are only a walk away, and there are many independent shops to explore and enjoy. The ‘Dip', with its handy parade of shops, is even closer for when you need to grab something last minute. Town is only a short drive away, although the current owner regularly walks it. In addition, public transport links are great, with frequent bus services and the nearby ‘Moulsecoomb’ train station, with its short journey to Brighton station.

What the Owner says:

My kids and I love Hollingdean: there’s a real community feel, with frequent street festivals in the Dip, and people are very friendly and helpful.

I have done a lot of work to the property over the years, and believe that I have made it a comfortable, sound, well laid-out home. What I particularly enjoy about the house is: how light it is, with sun coming into the lounge and kitchen all day; how the outside feels so spacious, both at the front and at the back, due to the large gardens on both sides, plus the wide front terrace; going out to collect wood from the log shed for our lovely open fire; and the big larder, which is large enough to actually walk into!
