We moved here 7 years ago as we completely fell in love with the village. Moving from London, we were searching for somewhere that offered us green open spaces, a garden we could grow vegetables in and a real village lifestyle, all within commutable distance to the capital. When we stepped through the door we knew we could make it our home. Over the years we have completely transformed it. We have sanded the floors, replaced the windows, added two log burners and completely redecorated every room. We also had the loft boarded and insulated. Perhaps the biggest and best thing we did was transforming the building in the garden into a studio, as we work from home, we also had a toilet and wash basin installed for added convenience.
