Description
A charming three bedroom semi-detached cottage set in the highly desired village of Northend, Batheaston, to the east of the city of Bath. Spacious accommodation throughout the three floors and character aplenty. To the ground floor a lounge and dining room with feature fireplaces and sash windows, with cottage kitchen opening on to the garden and outside patio area. The first floor has two good size bedrooms with fireplaces and lovely countryside views and a family bathroom with roll top bath and shower. The landing also provides a nice study area with views to the front garden. The second floor loft room would make a great pad for children with space for bed and sofa and a period porthole. Externally lovely cottage gardens both front and back with pagoda and patio areas for seating and dining. Ideally located for all local shops, amenities and bus routes to the city.

Location
Northend is a picturesque village famed for its quaint historical buildings and part of the old parish of Batheaston, situated a little over 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Bath city centre. The modern village offers a range of amenities with doctors, dentists, pharmacy, veterinary practice, café, coffee shop, local convenience store, chip shop and hairdressers. The highly desired local primary school is Batheaston CEVC and there are not one but four local churches. Transport links into Bath city centre are excellent with regular bus services passing through the village. It is also very usefully located for commuters who drive as it is in close proximity to both the A4 and A46 providing access to the M4 motorway. In nearby Bathampton village you will find the River Avon and Kennet & Avon canal. Both waterways provide fine dining experiences with The George pub on the canal bank and the Bathampton Mill situated on the weir of the river. Between the months of April and October river tours run on the Avon and these can also be used by locals as a delightful means of transport to the city as they stop at Pulteney Bridge. The village is overlooked by Solsbury Hill which is within the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and provides simply stunning views across the city of Bath.
