Location
Stokesby is a quiet village approximately 9 miles from Great Yarmouth and 13 miles from Norwich. The village is situated on the River Bure and offers visitors a tranquil and peaceful time for their stay. Stokesby has the Ferry Inn, one local shop with a cycle hire facility. There is also a busy Community Centre and Social Club and regular services are held in St Andrews Church. There is free parking beside the village green overlooking the river. Many visitors arrive by boat and although there are only a limited amount of free moorings by the car park, there are further moorings near the Ferry Inn which are £5 per night. On the village green there are swings and slides for the young ones to let off steam.
Directions
Leave Yarmouth heading west on the Acle Straight, at the roundabout at the end of the Acle Straight take the third exit heading back towards Caister-on-Sea, continue over the bridge and past the Acle Bridge Public House, take the next turning right, continue into Stokesby where the property can be found on the right hand side.
