Property description

Ever wondered what it would be like to wake up in the morning to the sight of Leith Hill in the distance or beautiful National Trust land out the window? Well this remarkable family home can soon make that a reality. Having been extended, this property encapsulates family life with ease and the location can only be described as stunning! If you enjoy cosy evenings in front of a roaring log burner then you will be blown away by the inglenook fireplace in the large lounge which comes complete with a multi fuel burner and fabulous views. If entertaining is more your thing then you will love the fantastic extended kitchen as it beautifully incorporates a family and dining area too. Flooded with light and complete with stylish units and under-floor heating it's easy to envisage this being the hub of the home. Even the kids have their own room for all their toys and somewhere to play. When you find yourself with a house full, there's room for everyone to stay but there may be fights over who gets the best bedroom for views! The large stylish bathroom is the ideal place for that well earned soak or wake up shower and there's an additional luxurious downstairs shower room with under-floor heating.

Outside, the kids can tire themselves out for hours in the garden whilst you set up the barbecue and table and chairs and chat until the sun goes down. Complete with parking and a garage, this remarkable home has it all.

What the Owner says:

We bought this house almost ten years ago as we completely fell in love with the location. We loved the fact that it was tucked away at the end of a private lane, overlooking and surrounded by National Trust Land. When we stepped inside and saw the inglenook fireplace in the lounge, we knew instantly that it had to be ours. It needed a lot of work but it felt like home and we saw it as the ideal place to bring up a family. Since living here, we have completely transformed the house. We extended the kitchen which gave us extra dining and family space. It also freed up the front reception which is now the kids very own play room. We created the downstairs shower room and redesigned and remodelled the upstairs bathroom.
