Property description

What a lovely example of a 1930's home. As you walk under the traditional arched entrance porch and into this property the large spacious entrance hall is a taste of what's to come.

The extended and refitted kitchen has the luxury of integral appliances including a microwave and wine cooler. There are plenty of worktops for all your gadgets and lots of space to cook up a storm. Why not admire your garden whilst peeling the potatoes!

Like inviting friends over for Sunday lunch? The dining room is generous in size and could easily host a large dinner party.

An open fire in the lounge will keep you warm and cosy in winter and when the warmer weather arrives pull back the bi-folding doors and let the sunshine in. The patio area provides the perfect place to sample the wine you've been cooling.

Wander upstairs and the neutral tones continue. A tastefully refitted bathroom along with two double bedrooms and a good size third complete the layout. Subtle additions like the guest cloakroom, water softener and fitted shutter style blinds further enhance this immaculately presented home.

Parking for 3/4 cars with the potential for more alongside the house and a detached garage means this home really does have a lot to offer.

What the Owner says:

I was first attracted to this property as I felt it was a solid home.

It has been enjoyable updating it and while I have lived here I have refitted the kitchen and bathroom, added the guest cloakroom, replaced the boiler, flooring and roof and fitted the bi-folding doors in the lounge.

Its such a convenient location close to shops, schools, motorway links and the station. I will miss my large garden which has been great for summer entertaining. I hope the new owner can enjoy the mix of traditional and modern touches I have created.
