My parents happily lived here for fifty one years and bought it brand new and off plan.
I was twelve years old at the time and still regard it as my family home as I have had some of my happiest memories here. I was married in the local church and my first son was christened there as well. It was, and still is, the nicest place to grow up in and that is why my parents never had plans to move away from the village.
The neighbours next door, and quite a few along the road, have lived here just as long as they had and all bought off plan. It has a real sense of community spirit and I will be sad to see it go but hope that the new owners will enjoy living here as much as we have.
