Property description

The saying goes all good things come to those who wait and we can definitely say that this stunning property has been worth waiting for. The property itself forms part of a cluster of similar properties that were originally farm workers cottages dating back to the early 1900's. The current owners have tastefully decorated and updated the property since living here, which gives it a very welcoming feeling and they have created a beautiful family home. The large 20ft lounge is a space that you could cosy up on the sofa and it benefits many attractive features including: an open feature fireplace and exposed brick work that really sets of the room. The main heart of the house is the amazing 16ft kitchen/breakfast room, with in-keeping country style units and solid wood work tops, a perfect room if cooking is your passion and you enjoy entertaining friends. Outside there is a generous rear garden, which can be enjoyed in complete privacy. Established shrub borders create a colourful haven and a safe place for the children to play, or just a nice area to relax in the better summer months to come. Location speaks for itself being set in one of the areas most prestigious rural village locations, enjoying views across local orchards and fields. Always in high demand, as properties in this quaint village do not come to the market very often. There is so much to see in this fantastic period cottage, it would be a real shame to miss out, so call us for more information and book your first available time to view.

What the Owner says:

My husband and I purchased this property 4 years ago and were initially attracted to it due to having good sized rooms, lots of quirky features and we loved the size of the garden. We came down from London and wanted to settle into a quiet Kent village.

Our family also live close by and due to wanting to start a family ourselves we felt that the location was very important.

The property has been a perfect home for us and we will be sad to leave it behind, but our family is growing fast and we are now looking for our forever home. We would love to stay in the village as it is a beautiful place to live, with friendly people and stunning surroundings.
