We knew the area well when we bought the property, it is a quiet road with little passing traffic. It was ideal for starting a family, the kids were able to play in the woods and the field round the corner.
It was 3 months after we bought it that we first moved in. We stripped it right back and started again. We have now been here for over 14 years and have worked hard to keep it up to date.
One of the changes we made was to the loft. It has been partially converted into a games room for our son, accessed via a ladder. It is ideal for a hobby room as it is tucked out of the way.
