We've had the house in the family from my grandmothers time before the war. I have always loved the fact that from the upstairs window you can see Shurland Hall where Henry VIII took Anne Boleyn for their honeymoon. There is so much history here, even the local church, All Saints, dates back to 1437.

I have strong memories as a child looking out at heavy snow fall in the garden on Christmas Eve and hearing the peal of the Church bells. A proper Village!
