Property description
You can lose yourself in the fantastic “park-like” garden here! Looking out from the house you will feel you have escaped into the country as the private scene unfolds in front of you. It is an amazing size which you just wouldn’t get with homes being built today, perfect for the green-fingered and an adventure playground for children. You could try your hand at growing your own fruit and vegetables and relax on the level top end of the garden and take in the panoramic views of your surroundings.
The drive has been extended and offers easy parking which gets your cars off the road and is perfect for a family. There is also a carport so you can simply start up and go, whilst others spend ages scraping the ice and frost from their car windows.
It is a lovely neighbourhood; you can walk around the corner for your newspaper or pick up a takeaway and there are good schools within walking distance too. You can take a bus from the A20 London Road into Maidstone and there is a choice of supermarkets and shops locally including Sainsbury’s at the nearby retail park. If you enjoy your leisure time then you are spoilt for choice! Country walks are virtually on the doorstep, the Larkfield Leisure Centre offers a gym and swimming pools, Leybourne Lakes with its 250 acres of Lakeland scenery offers everything from scuba diving and windsurfing to fishing and bird watching. Commuting is easy from here too.
What the Owner says:
I moved here many years ago and have found it to be a really pleasant and quiet location to live, the only traffic you are likely to see is that of your neighbours as the road doesn’t lead anywhere. I like the area here and that’s really why I haven’t considered moving before.
I now find I just don’t need all the space and I am looking to downsize to something smaller but I won’t move far away as the local area is great for all the amenities you need and for getting to places too.
I hope the next owners’ get as much out of living here as I have and enjoy it for years to come.
