When we bought the house back in 1999, it was the location that we really loved. It was quick to get into central London, after an easy walk to the train station, and yet it was also quick to get to the M25 in less than 15mins. We also loved the fact that is was a quiet cul-de-sac, that the schools were really close and that there were pubs, restaurants, a supermarket and shops all within a kilometre.
During our time there we extended and completely renovated the house. The addition of the utility room has been a blessing and revolutionised the functioning of the kitchen. Having the separate lounge also gave us the chance to relax without being disturbed by the rest of the family's activities in the dining room.
