Property description
Built in the 1800's this period end of terrace house is situated on the West side of the seaside town of Ramsgate
Within walking distance of the house you will find the historic Addington Street, which leads you to the West cliff promenade where you can enjoy a stroll along the cliff top, soaking up the sea air and enjoying the fabulous views of the country's only Royal Harbour; here you will find a lovely mix of restaurants including Thai, Indian, Italian, English and French; or a further walk past the harbour will lead you to an array of cafes and bars, a perfect location from which to enjoy a cold beer or glass of wine whilst watching the world go by.
The house itself is full of charm and character and has many original features throughout. The current owners have improved and enhanced the house over recent years including a new kitchen with new windows and remote control velux window - a fantastic space for entertaining with French doors opening to the pretty flint walled courtyard garden.
The owners have also recently added a shower room on the first floor and replaced the combination boiler in September 2015 and installed a log burner in the lounge.
Call today to book your viewing to appreciate all that this lovely home has to offer.
What the Owner says:
What attracted us most to this house was mainly the location; being within walking distance of the town, Waitrose and harbour as well as being on the loop bus route was very important. We also actively take part in community activities including art exhibitions locally and there is a real community feel around the West Cliff area.
We were also attracted to the space the house offers, with accommodation over three floors. We have redecorated the whole house with the exception of the lower ground floor which we have been using as a studio for our art work. We hope that the next owners are as happy here as we have been; we are looking to downsize but stay local.
