When I bought the property it required so much work, but I could see the potential and thought it was such a great location that I had to have it.
I set about making improvements to make it a great family home and as the children got older I decided to convert the loft to create a master bedroom and having the en-suite means there is no fighting over the bathroom in the morning!
Being so close to the town has been ideal as we can walk to the town and station without having to take the car. We spend a lot of time outside and enjoy the secluded rear garden, there is also a large summer house which my children used as a den when their friends came round.
