We were looking across most of Kent and Sussex and hadn't necessarily considered a brand new home.
This house was larger than others we had viewed and as it was close to both the train station and Gatwick airport which was ideal. Since moving in we have added a large conservatory, tiled the kitchen floor and changed the flooring throughout the ground floor. We re-fitted the kitchen, as well as having the windows replaced with triple glazing and the external doors replaced too.
We'll miss the peace of living here. The garden is our absolute haven and we'll miss that greatly. We will also miss the community feel: as there are only 13 houses in the close we do organise annual events.
