Property description
In a quiet private cul-de-sac lies a larger than expected home with plenty of living space in comparison to some of its more modern alternatives and, being one of only three homes you will be forgiven for thinking it's a semi! Pull up, into one of the three parking spaces safe in the knowledge there are no DIY tasks to be done this weekend.
Step up to the property, open the front door and your eyes will instantly be drawn along the hall, through the lounge and conservatory and out onto the pretty rear garden. Back inside and the plush wooden floors set the tone for the rest of the home. You can tick cloakroom off the list too.
Tempted by the natural light streaming in, you will be lured into the cavernous lounge which has plenty of space for the necessary furniture. The current owners added a large conservatory and this has a splendid view over the rear garden, ideal for keeping an eye on the little ones! If you wanted, this could become the dining area or possibly a playroom or teenage retreat. Continuing the theme of space is the kitchen. Plenty of integrated units come as expected and it has a pleasant view across the close, making visits to the sink more enjoyable.
Three generous bedrooms await the new owners, bedrooms two and three enjoy the same rear aspect as the lounge and enjoy use of the crisp modern family bathroom. Bedroom one, complete with walk in wardrobe is worthy of any head of household, a quick blast from the shower in the en-suite will leave you invigorated for your day.
What the Owner says:
We hadn’t necessarily considered a brand new home when we were looking but it was larger than others we had viewed and the fact we could fit a dining table large enough to seat us all comfortably in the kitchen was an even bigger bonus. Since moving in we have changed the flooring on the ground floor and added the conservatory which we currently use as a second reception room and more formal dining area. We’ll miss the peace of living here and the community feel that goes along with it. The garden is our absolute haven and is totally secluded; you often forget you are only a short stroll from the town centre and end of line station which is very handy as I was always guaranteed a seat. Gatwick is only a short car journey away too.
