We were looking for something different and unique: properties like this don't come up often and are very difficult to find.

As soon as we saw this we offered the full asking price immediately. We loved the surrounding open fields and the fact the garden surrounds the cottage on three sides.
Since we moved in we have done a lot to it including opening out the back wall so it is now a wall of glass which allows us to make the most of the morning sun. When we turn into the un- made road it feels as if we are leaving the cares of the world behind and when we step into the cottage or sit in the garden it feels as if we are on holiday and we have truly loved living here.
