OWNERS COMMENTS As soon as I walked into Newlands Cottage I knew that this was home. A quirky, period cottage with charm, exuding a sense of calm and tranquillity and a feeling of "safeness". With open fireplaces, exposed brickwork, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 receptions and a private cottage garden it was everything I was looking for. And of course a driveway for 2/3 cars which are a premium in St Helens!
St Helens itself has so much to offer with 2 great restaurants, a tea shop, village pub, post office and general store and on a regular bus route to boot. If you're a keen walker then take a gentle stroll to the St Helens beach and beyond or stop for a break at the Baywatch Cafe before you continue on your way.
During the Summer there is a Sunday car boot sale, a Summer Village Fayre and Carnival held in August which has run for over a 100 years. Cricket and football are played on the Green and many spend time relaxing watching with a pint or Pimms in hand.
