Property description

Offered for sale with no chain, this three bedroom link-detached house is situated on the edge of a popular residential development less than a third of a mile from Petworth C of E Primary School.

With far reaching views across open countryside, the property enjoys a semi-rural location and yet is only ten minutes walk from the centre of this bustling, medieval and very picturesque town.

The accommodation has a traditional layout, with a large, dual aspect lounge/dining area, compact kitchen and downstairs cloakroom.

Two of the three bedrooms are doubles, the third being a good single. The bathroom would benefit from some updating and there is plenty of scope for the next owner to add their own stamp to the property.

A driveway to the front, plus an integral single garage provide useful off road parking.

There are wonderful walks available almost from the doorstep and nearby Petworth Park offers more than 750 acres of beautiful parkland. A range of independent and specialist shops, as well as a good choice of pubs, cafes and restaurants is close by .

Please refer to the footnote regarding the services and appliances.

What the Owner says:

We moved here from Rudgwick more than twenty years ago to be closer to family.

Since then we've added double glazed windows and replaced the warm air heating system with electric night storage heaters. We've also had the rear garden hard-landscaped for low maintenance.

The views to the front are superb, across the allotments to the fields and the glorious South Downs beyond.

Petworth has been a great place to live. It's really quaint with lots of history and a very friendly, welcoming feel.
